This place gets 10s across the board from me! I had heard this place had a similar menu to Din Tai Fung, and I was really in the mood for some good dumplings. The quality of the dumplings here are FAR better. More filling, less doughy, more flavor. Better service. Much smaller wait time as well, on a Saturday night at 6:30 we waited about half an hour for a part of four. The prices here are also slightly better than din tai fung. The waiters were really quick with taking our orders and the food came out fast even with a packed restaurant. I look forward to coming back here! This place would exceed perfection for me personally if they had more tofu dishes without meat, but they're already exceptional as is! Also, the ambiance of the restaurant is cute. It feels upscale but family friendly and lots of hustle and bustle in a good way.

Outside, the building is nondescript, without even a real sign with the name of the restaurant. But inside, it is clean and welcoming. The garlic green beans came out first. They were perfectly cooked, not overdone with a nice crunch and a garlicky punch. The pan fried pork dumplings was fantastic with a nice crispy outside texture but with a warm, soft filling on the inside. The Xiao Long Bao was great too, but be prepared for the soup/juice to spray if you take a bite in the middle. The pan fried pork bun is a must order. The dough is not too thick, fluffy on the outside with piping hot filling on the inside. The sesame seeds at the bottom gives it a pleasant toasted nutty taste and addicting gritty crunch. We also got the Pork Chop egg fried rice, which was ok. Might try a different egg fried rice next time. The dish we didn't enjoy as much was the Braised Beef Noodle Soup. It was moderately spicy, but also very sweet like sugar was added, which was a bit of an odd combination for a Beef Noodle Soup. I would still look forward in coming back and trying the other dumpling dishes.

"There are so many Asian people dining here, it must be really good." It's me, I'm one of the Asian people eating there XD Soup dumplings are basically one of my favorite things ever, and you can take a peek at the chefs making them fresh through the glass. And don't make the same mistake as I did, wearing all-white because their juicy pan-fried pork buns will literally squirt all over you omg. But trust me, all their other dishes on the menu are delicious too, like the beef rolls, cucumber salad, and black pepper beef cubes, but you just can't sleep on their carby dishes. The dumpling wrappers are so delicate and filled with so much soup. Dan dan noodles are a must-get here, and their spicy beef noodle soup is on the sweeter side. Thanks for reading! ^-^

Stopped here with the family on a Friday night for dinner because we were all craving for some dumplings and rice cakes. Food was delicious! However, the scallion pancakes lacks a bit more flavor. Service was friendly and attentive. The place was also nice and clean. I would recommend this place. Not too pricey.

First time here after a friend's recommendation and it did not disappoint. I came mostly for the xlb and green beans, but I got introduced to the salt and pepper calamari and beef udon noodles. Very satiating and delicious meal. The service is quick and to the point. You place your order on a paper and the waiter will review the order with you before placing it. The food comes out prompt and very fresh. The flavor of everything was perfect for me and the portions are more than enough for the value. The restaurant itself has a comfortable layout that is clean and accommodating. There is even a window where you can see the fresh dumplings being prepared. I definitely enjoyed my experience here and look forward to visiting again and trying more options.

The first time I came here they had a soft opening which was probably a year and a half ago? I wasn't sold and never came back but being with a different group we decided to try it again as I was craving dumplings and my usuals have been going downhill (pppop, Mr dragon). This visit was really memorable. Here's my top orders and what to avoid: Must get: -Hot and Sour soup. I know, very few people crave this but please try it and taste the difference. Not a drop left by the end. -Pan fried buns. 100x better than Kang Kang. They were soft, perfectly crunchy at the bottom and the soup juice you can see after biting the top. It wasn't heavy like other places. -Pan fried dumplings. Wow, the thin skin perfectly holding this together is impressive. Excellent taste and delicate. -Taiwanese cabbage. How they make cabbage so freaking good is beyond me. Excellent seasoning, slight natural sweetness. Good bite and quantity. So so: -Scallion pancake. Overly fried, a bit too chewy from the standard. Skip: -Fried rice with pork chop. Tasteless fried rice and underwhelming pork chop. Overall great and will visit again to try the xlb.

Been seeing this place on social media and was finally able to come and see what the hype was about. The hype is REAL!!! This place really is a Ding Tai Fung dupe. Service was fast, kind (shockingly), and effective. XLBs were filled with lots of tasty and well-balanced soup. Pork was fragrant and umami. Skin was thin. Highly recommend getting the Taiwanese cabbage as it was super garlicky and flavorful. Skip the green onion pancake - crispy but not a lot of green onion flavor at all. Ja Jiang mien had great bouncy noodles and well-seasoned sauce. Beef rolls were a solid 3.5/5 but needed more cilantro and sauce. Really enjoyed my time here and would come again.
